Living in the slum is innovating all the time. Every day, between absences and difficulties, we learn to reinvent paths, solve problems and follow with dignity. The historical image of the favela as synonymous with lack hides our enormous creative potential, based on networks of solidarity and shared knowledge.
The Providence Gallery is part of this force to build practices that face the challenges of the territory in a collaborative, affective and strategic way. We develop social technologies that are born of listening, experience and urgency. Tools that organize, connect, assist and enhance the capacity of the territory to think and act for itself. Always in network, we seek partners and supporters who can add up in this walk.
